From Locarno to Puerto Rico

by Patricia Fornera, Puerto Rico

I was born in Locarno in 1948. My parents decided to come to Puerto Rico in 1957 when I was 7 years old. I’ve been living here since then. I visited my family in Switzerland in 2003 and 2006. I have family in the italian and the french part of Switzerland. I wish I could go back there for my last years to live.

  1. Greetings Patricia – I saw your blog about Puerto Rico (mine was on the same page) – as I try to help people who contact me re their migration to Central and South American countries, I find there is a paucity of official documentation on any of these locations.

Do you have any/know of any documents that I can be sent copies of to help me assist people who request it? I mostly get enquiries from Argentina but occasionally from other Central/South American places.
I’m sorry, but there is nothing I can give you in return except, perhaps, my “South American” file which might be helpful – I will send that when you reply which will give me your e-mail address.
